Girls Night Out – Lashes!
Have you ever wondered how some women have such luscious, long and thick lashes? Do you fight with your mascara every day trying to lengthen what you have for lashes? Me too! But my life was changed (seriously, I’m not even kidding you) when Marielle introduced me to false lashes. I had seen all of my clients have them applied, and after watching how easy it was, and how dramatically it changed the appearance of their eyes (with or without makeup), I decided to give it a try. I bought a variety pack of false lashes on Amazon for less than $15, picked up some paint on adhesive (easy peasy) by Revlon, and started practicing. Was it perfect the first time? No. Did anyone but me notice? Definitely not.
But I loved it. It took me about a week of wearing them every day to get really good at positioning them right, and getting used to wearing them all day. And I haven’t looked back! I now wear my falsies every day, and haven’t applied mascara for MONTHS. The falsies I buy are super affordable, last for a couple of weeks before I toss them out, and no one knows they aren’t real. Even my eye doctor was confused by them.
Are you interested in learning how to apply your own false lashes? Where to buy them, how to care for them, techniques to make it easier? Then come to our Girls Night Out Lash Party! Marielle with Kiss & Makeup will be there to apply lashes to a live model, answer questions, and help you apply a complimentary false lashes to yourself. Everyone that attends will have the chance to practice applying lashes on themselves, then will be able to take those lashes home to wear again and again. We will also have drinks and snacks, and lots of fun ladies to chat with.
Join us for our FREE girls night out on Friday, January 31, 7-9 pm at my downtown studio location. 627 Grand Ave – located in the alley behind Salon Capelli. Make sure you come in through the alley!
Be sure to RSVP to the event on Facebook – one lucky lady will go home with a new lash kit, including 2 sets of lashes, a pair of pointed tweezers and glue!
